nice mix simon. Good as ever. Yeah the whole "minimal" thing is getting pretty tired. Dont get me wrong theres still great stuff coming out but its hard to find amongst the myriad of tunes that follow exactly the same dancefloor fodder formula. Theres some nice deeper stuff coming out at the moment though on the housier side of things. Been listening to lots of detroity kind of electro stuff off labels like Touchin' Bass, Clone, IT  and the like. Not really that dance friendly but real nice stuff. And by electro I dont mean the "electro-house" dross that people seem to think is somehow electro. Call me a purist but when proper electro is that good I get somewhat offended when people try to call something else by that name................  Or maybe Im just on a rant

Hey . people ..

Well I think its funny .. but the local commerical club boys in CHCH
are finally playing pretty much solid minimal techno ..

How long did that take ??   .. the average of 5 years for a music
style to filter down to us in the south is about right then.

Anyway .. I've sooo moved on .. and pretty much just playing house
now, with a very tech techy feel  ..

So despite general slackness I have posted a new mix from my RADIO909 Show ..

Whats everyone else doing .. ??

You know the advantage to a mailing list, is that we don't have to be
friends or follow each other.
