actually its only a year or so old. I think the bassline is pinched from a big tune they did in 1998 called Hale Bopp. Yeah their early stuff was amazing. A lot of that early german techno was pretty ridiculous. Labels like Harthouse were awesome. Found an old record by Alter Ego for 96 or 97 that still sounded pretty good by todays standards. A lot of stuff from back then sounds really dated bar a few. Ron Trent's "Altered States" is an awesome example of that timeless kinda sound that still sounds wicked. Have to check Discog . but it might be the other way around .. as in
the track may have been produced before Daft Punk . . -- Bram ?
I personally found my way to Der Dritte Raum from labels and sounds
like Eye-Q, R&S. Alot of the sound they produced was a really nice
crossover between house, techno and trance.
And this was pre styles like Tech-house really got a footprint.
