We are very excited to be hosting Dan for a show at KILL! CLUB

I first spotted Dan in the late 90's in WGT dropping seriously deep
and solid techno sets. It was clear to me even then that Dan had a
real finesse for mixing and sweet knack for rolling through melodic
techno seamlessly and consistently.

His music production follows suit with strong well formed techno
goodness. For me Dan Morgan is a testament to the fact that NZ
actually has a really good pedigree in techno producers.

No new comer to the scene, Dan has done more than his fair share of
contributing to the sparse techno landscape of NZ. Running radio
shows on both Active and Firm FM plus hosting a string of events with
scene stalwart Matt Drake.

As with nearly ever key player on the scene in NZ. Dan has had to
divide time and attention for his music with the task of just
surviving in general.

However while residing in the relative techno obscurity, he has still
managed to release music on Irish Techno label Monad music and have a
collection of works and remixes on Beatport. check here >>

He is currently in the studio working on projects with Simon Flower,
so I am eagerly anticipating the output of such a dream collaboration.

Getting him down to play at KILL! CLUB was essential for me. Not only
does Dan represent some of my favourite NZ techno moments from the
past, but his consistent and constant delivery of a pure techno sound
over the past decade makes him, in my mind, one of the essential
contributors to the what is New Zealand techno.

KILL! CLUB is very much about showcasing the breadth, width and depth
of techno in NZ. From the more modern musical adventures of musicians
like Module to the bedrock beats of a Dan Morgan. The music, the
scene is alive and well. For me it is about knowing where to look and
how the dots connect.
