Okay while we are working on the final touches for the new Psurkit.net label
site, I thought I would drop 909 a bit of a inside heads up.

Currently the site is still running as a podcast site. Doing no less than
hosting a promo mix from KILL! CLUB. Transmission swap over will occur as
soon as the Technical team figure out how to patch in the RCA's.

Anyway a quick round of Psurkit history.

Psurkit started its life as a techno party in WGT circa 1996. It continued
as series of events before being replaced by the more infamous "Fun Poison"
events. http://funpoison.com/

Circa 1999 Psurkit became a mailing list (lesser sibling to the more
secretive psecret list) until it imploded in an continues flame war when
list administers made all posts anonymous.

In 2004 Psurkit was the first NZ website to start podcasting. A move so
incredible the site made onto Close Up for a10min piece.

Not to be left standing we thought it was prime time to keep things moving
and re-present Psurkit as a net label.

As I said the 'new' site is still on the bench. However you can join us on
myspace here: http://www.myspace.com/psurkit

Anyway. Still just a small group of producers involved. But if you are
making more minimal'esk sounds and what to release some tunes then you
should get in touch with a demo.
